Over the years, various projects called for joinery skills, which gradually developed as the scale and complexity of the work increased. In 2017, this progression culminated in the renovation of an old coach house, undertaken with the technical drawing support of Atelier Dalziel. The project involved the design and construction of bespoke elements including cupboards, a staircase, balustrade, bathroom fittings, and a custom sink. The successful outcome of this renovation provided the confidence to take on more ambitious domestic commissions, including full kitchen designs and a range of finely crafted furniture. Though an occasional sideline, this work continues to offer a rewarding and creatively fulfilling counterpoint to other artistic pursuits.
