A significant house renovation. The previous kitchen was removed and the room taken back to bare-boards so that the floor could be insulated and bathroom fittings immediately above updated. A team of builders did this work but all the cabinets, drawers and undercounted lights were made bespoke by JAAK.

  • Units were made in birch ply and fronts were cut in FENIX.

Images of the previous space: most cupboards had lost their fronts or collapsed. The smaller height door was subsequently widened to double width, and the double glazed door and windows were replaced in Douglas Fir.

The kitchen units are being installed, on top of a cork floor which is protected with temporary matting.

Here many of the details are finished, the drawers and fronts fitted and all edges polished.
